Walga Health Center has officially launched facility-level training on the Prime Care Electronic Health (Digitalization) system as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen health service delivery. The system was deployed by Service Along the Nile International Ethiopia to support the Health Center’s transition toward a more efficient, data-driven, and integrated health information system.

Prior to this rollout, key staff members from Walga Health Center received national-level training on the Prime Care system. Building on this foundation, the Health Center has now begun comprehensive on-site training for service units to ensure full and effective implementation of the digital health platform across all departments.
The Prime Care Electronic Health system is designed to improve workflow efficiency, enhance patient data management, reduce paperwork, and support timely decision-making. Through digitalization of health records and service processes, the system is expected to improve the quality of care, accountability, and continuity of services provided to the community.
The training focuses on practical system use, data entry, reporting, and day-to-day operational integration. Health professionals and administrative staff are being equipped with the skills needed to confidently use the system in their routine work, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.
Service Along the Nile International Ethiopia remains committed to supporting health system strengthening initiatives that improve service delivery and patient outcomes. The successful implementation of the Prime Care Electronic Health system at Walga Health Center marks an important step toward modernizing healthcare services in the district.
