Services Along the Nile International Ethiopia has completed and advanced key renovation works at the Misrach Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Center to improve safety, accessibility, and learning conditions for trainees with disabilities.

The upgrades include roofing and PU floor renovations, guard house and safety improvements, enhanced toilet and shower facilities in the ladies’ dormitory, and veranda slab works. Training Block I was upgraded with new painting, ceilings, and glass installations, while the woodwork section benefited from improved ventilation, gutters, and a new compressor. A water tanker system was also installed to ensure reliable water supply.

In parallel, the Center has procured essential training materials, including optics and sewing workshop equipment and computers with JAWS software to support digital learning for blind students.

These improvements strengthen Misrach Center’s capacity to provide inclusive, high-quality vocational training and rehabilitation services.
